Alzheimer's Care at Home
At Temporary Home Care, we understand the needs of families coping with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Watching a loved one decline as Alzheimer’s or dementia takes hold and progresses is devastating to the patient and his or her family. The staff of Temporary Home Care has extensive experience in designing plans tailored to meet the needs of both the client and his or her family.
As research advances, we are beginning to understand more about these conditions. There are no cures, but there are steps that can be taken to slow the progression. We are there to help your family develop a long-range plan for the care of the patient and the family. The services we provide include:
- Medication monitoring – Medications are crucial to slowing the progression of these conditions. The timing and dosages of multiple medications can be confusing to the caregiver and impossible for the patient. We will help you develop a plan to ensure the medications are taken properly.
